Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Babcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Babcock!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aaron Andrews!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babcock fails to land with a series of punches.
Babcock looks to score with a jab to the body but Andrews is just out of range.

Andrews tries to keep at a distance but Babcock has taken the fight into the clinch.

Babcock uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Andrews lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Babcock circles away quickly and effectively.

Babcock turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Andrews is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

No joy there for Andrews, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Babcock is pushing Andrews up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Andrews tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bruce Babcock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Andrews.

Babcock lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The referee warns Andrews that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Babcock cracks Andrews with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
