The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn moves away from the strike by Hunter.
A left lands for Hunter.
Hunter scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Dan Severn has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A swing and a miss from Hunter.
Hunter feints a jab promting Severn to slip. Hunter then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Severn slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Severn has a takedown stuffed.
Hunter throws a nice looking combination but Severn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Severn scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Severn has hold of Hunter's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hunter tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Severn cranks the arm and Hunter screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hunter, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
