Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wakka Pakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angry Jabberwocky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabberwocky checks a low kick from Pakka.
Pakka thumps Jabberwocky with a low kick.
Jabberwocky on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Pakka moves in looking to clinch but Jabberwocky pushes him off.
Pakka misses with a body kick.
Jabberwocky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pakka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jabberwocky somewhat.
Pakka lands with a cross.
Pakka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jabberwocky gets tackled into the cage by Pakka. Pakka maintains the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pakka swings wildly with an uppercut but Jabberwocky uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pakka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jabberwocky tries for a takedown but Pakka circles away easily
and Jabberwocky takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pakka misses the shot to the body.
Pakka lands a glancing blow to the side of Jabberwocky's head.

Pakka slaps away a takedown attempt from Jabberwocky, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wakka Pakka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Angry Jabberwocky.
Pakka misses with a few strikes there.
Jabberwocky defending well as Pakka loads up on a big left hand.
Pakka tries to clinch but Jabberwocky is having none of it.
Pakka throws the left hand but Jabberwocky avoids the punch easily.
Pakka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jabberwocky tries for a takedown but Pakka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pakka misses with a few strikes there.

Jabberwocky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jabberwocky is fighting to break Pakka's control of his arms but Pakka is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pakka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pakka tries to bum rush Jabberwocky with a series of wild strikes but Jabberwocky uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pakka throws a punch but it's blocked by Jabberwocky.

Jabberwocky is working for takedown but Pakka is calmly controlling the position for now.

Jabberwocky has Pakka pressed against the cage, preventing Pakka from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Jabberwocky changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pakka fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Jabberwocky moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pakka throws a head kick that Jabberwocky semi-blocks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jabberwocky shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jabberwocky.
Pakka gets in close and tags Jabberwocky with a short punch that almost sends Jabberwocky to the mat! Oh Jabberwocky is in big trouble! He turns his back on Pakka, trying to create some distance but Pakka rushes him, striking wildly and Jabberwocky goes down! The referee tackles Pakka into the cage to end the fight! Pakka is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wakka Pakka!
