Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michak Ropuia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Daskalov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ropuia comes to the ring accompanied by Here comes the pain - Slayer. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Martin Daskalov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daskalov lands with a slapping head kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ropuia fails with the takedown
and Ropuia takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Daskalov lands with a kick to the temple. Ropuia shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Daskalov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ropuia misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Daskalov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Daskalov connects with a high kick.
Daskalov lands a high kick!
Ropuia takes a kick to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ropuia shoots in for a takedown but Daskalov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michak Ropuia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ropuia is breathing heavily.
Daskalov misses with an uppercut. Ropuia saw that one coming.

Ropuia gets caught napping as Daskalov dives in and scores a takedown. Ropuia manages to retain guard.
Daskalov works over Ropuia with some ground and pound from guard.
Daskalov wants to control from the top but Ropuia keeps moving.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Daskalov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Daskalov is sitting in close to Ropuia's body. Ropuia has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Daskalov is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Daskalov is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Ropuia.
