The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmeck looking to score a takedown here. Silva is defending well but Schmeck drives through and ends up in Silva's guard.
Schmeck trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Silva manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Silva controlling from the top position.
Silva stands and throws Schmeck's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Silva wants to control but Schmeck is keeping him busy.
Schmeck might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Silva tries for a kimura but Schmeck is defending well.
Silva swings around for an armbar but Schmeck sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Silva's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Schmeck closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Silva makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Silva.
Schmeck avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Schmeck sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Silva's guard.

Schmeck wants to free his trapped foot but Silva is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Schmeck is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Silva is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
