Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Name Later (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Bukovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Name Later!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Piotr Bukovsky!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bukovsky fails with an attempt to clinch.
Later with a poor takedown
enabling Bukovsky to counter with a crisp jab.

so Later counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Later working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Bukovsky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bukovsky can do anything to dispel that myth.

and Later counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bukovsky won't be happy with that.

Later tries to advance to mount but Bukovsky denies him.
Bukovsky tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Later cracks Bukovsky with a big right hand but Bukovsky just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bukovsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Later. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Later scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bukovsky to see if he's OK.
Bukovsky parries the strikes from Later easily there. Later is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bukovsky to escape.
Bukovsky is looking to regain half guard here but Later keeps moving and retains side control.
Later has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Later misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Later postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Later looks up at the clock and then as Bukovsky takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Later smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Later creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bukovsky sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Later sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bukovsky is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Later shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bukovsky pinned against the cage. Bukovsky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bukovsky stuffs the takedown attempt from Later. Later gets slowly back to his feet.
Later keeps the fight on the outside.
Horrible takedown by Later or perhaps it was just good defense by Bukovsky which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Name Later. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Later.
Bukovsky tries to close the distance and clinch but Later swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Later shoots in looking for a takedown but Bukovsky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Later's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Later might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Later accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Name Later overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bukovsky takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Bukovsky trying his best to control but Later has mounted him.
Later lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bukovsky is in all sorts of trouble here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bukovsky is wriggling around trying to escape.
Later cracks Bukovsky with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bukovsky is still in real trouble! Can Later finish him?

Later is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Bukovsky goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Later!
