The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chaweese gets caught flat footed, as Adams shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Adams looking to sit in guard and control but Chaweese gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Chaweese drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chaweese jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Chaweese is looking to pass into half guard but Adams pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Adams is in guard.
Chaweese keeping moving, preventing Adams from controlling successfully.

Adams has gone for a leg lock! Chaweese slips out almost immediately though and dives into Adams's guard.
Adams looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chaweese is one step ahead there.
Chaweese stands and throws Adams's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Chaweese advances to full mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chaweese prevents Adams from getting the reversal.

Chaweese looking to isolate an arm here. Adams doesn't see it coming and as Chaweese extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Chaweese!
