The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fake throws a low kick but Paraiba moves out of range easily.
Paraiba shoots in but no luck this time.
Paraiba misses with a takedown attempt - Fake sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Fake has taken the fight to the clinch.

Fake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fake connects with a good right hand that stumbles Paraiba. Paraiba circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Dudu Paraiba has been cut.
Fake thumps Paraiba with a low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Paraiba shoots in for a takedown but Fake shows good takedown defense.
Jake Fake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dudu Paraiba.

Fake takes the fight into the clinch.

Fake escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fake lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Paraiba backs up against the cage.
Paraiba misses with a takedown attempt - Fake sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Paraiba looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fake lands the left hand.
Fake comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Paraiba looks winded!

Fake drops Paraiba with a beautiful combination! Paraiba stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fake is looking for the KO!

Fake darts in and clinches Paraiba up against the cage.
Fake lands with a short shot to the head.
Fake lands a right hand.

Fake escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fake cracks a nice hook into Paraiba's ribs.
Fake weaves into range and cracks Paraiba right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Paraiba goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Fake is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
