The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fernandez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fernandez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Valentine's head.
