Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arek Rendziok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cal Paxton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rendziok comes to the cage accompanied by Sen. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Paxton there.
Paxton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Paxton misses the shot to the body.
Paxton throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Paxton wants to land a leg kick but Rendziok is out of range.
Paxton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rendziok.

Rendziok has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Paxton.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Paxton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rendziok crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Paxton - the referee stops the clock and Rendziok gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Paxton. Rendziok manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Rendziok fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Paxton to the ground. Rendziok is now in Paxton's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paxton can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rendziok stands up over Paxton, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cal Paxton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Paxton lands a front kick.
Paxton leaves Rendziok with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Paxton throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Arek Rendziok has been cut.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Paxton.
Rendziok looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Good leg kick by Paxton there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Paxton lands a glancing blow to the side of Rendziok's head.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Paxton! Rendziok is out on his feet! Paxton rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rendziok is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rendziok is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
