Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Fedor Emelyanenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenzo Hara!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hara shoots in looking for a takedown. Emelyanenko tries to sprawl out of it but Hara keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Emelyanenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Emelyanenko looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Emelyanenko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Emelyanenko avoids the head kick by Hara.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hara looks for a takedown but Emelyanenko sprawls well.
Fedor Emelyanenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenzo Hara.
A slow jab from Hara misses its intended target.
Emelyanenko tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Hara counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hara.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hara is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Emelyanenko is defending well.
Hara has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Emelyanenko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hara wants the takedown. Emelyanenko is fighting it off but Hara persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Emelyanenko's guard against the cage.

Hara drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hara seems to have locked his on tight now - Emelyanenko screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hara, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Kenzo Hara!
