Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Goraidh Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriele Cardinali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong comes to the cage accompanied by Cuntry Boys and City Girls. Gabriele Cardinali has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Armstrong misses.
A jab from Armstrong misses.
Cardinali misses with a jab, cross combination.
Armstrong takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Cardinali tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Armstrong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Armstrong slips a jab and a cross from Cardinali.
Cardinali keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Cardinali throws a jab when Armstrong was well out of range.
Cardinali misses with a hook. Armstrong ducked under it nicely.

and Armstrong counters by clinching up.

Cardinali tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Armstrong just stands there and leans against the cage.

Armstrong throws the left hand but Cardinali avoids the punch easily.

Cardinali throws out a loose jab but Armstrong uses good head movement to avoid it.

Armstrong moves into range and clinches up with Cardinali.

Armstrong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Armstrong holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Cardinali tries to keep at a distance but Armstrong has taken the fight into the clinch.
Cardinali trying to control the position but instead, Armstrong has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cardinali into the cage.
Armstrong doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Armstrong lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Armstrong can't find room to land a body shot as Cardinali controls the action.

Armstrong tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Armstrong throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cardinalis head.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Armstrong creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Armstrong throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Oooooh!!! Armstrong has knocked Cardinali down with a huge combo! Armstrong steps away and waves a wobbly Cardinali back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Cardinali is still on wobbly legs! Can Armstrong finish him?
Cardinali drops his hands momentarily. Armstrong doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Cardinali staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Cardinali doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
