Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Vincent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diogo Duarte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duarte is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dragon ball GT. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte darts in looking for a takedown but Vincent gets double underhooks and turns Duarte into the cage.
Duarte is trying to maintain a safe position but Vincent gets an underhook and turns Duarte into the cage.
Duarte wants to take the fight to the mat but Vincent manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Vincent has Duarte pressed against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Vincent.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Duarte.
A head punch on the inside from Vincent fails to land.
Vincent blocks an elbow strike from Duarte.
Vincent misses with a punch on the inside.
Vincent lands a left hand.
A head punch on the inside from Vincent fails to land.
Vincent stalling against the cage.
Vincent fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Vincent lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Vincent is pressed up against the cage. Duarte has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vincent down to the mat. Vincent avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jamie Vincent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diogo Duarte.
Duarte tries to clinch but Vincent is having none of it.

Vincent sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Duarte misses with a takedown
and Vincent counters with a single leg into guard. Duarte didn't expect that.
Vincent passes Duarte's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Vincent working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Duarte is refusing to be controlled, as Vincent sits in half guard.
Vincent thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Vincent performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Vincent is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Vincent perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Vincent has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vincent winds up and cracks Duarte with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Duarte is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Vincent moves into full mount! Duarte won't be happy about that!
Vincent postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Duarte in real trouble here! The ref calls for Duarte to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jamie Vincent!
