The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gaarlandt.
Lewis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Gaarlandt being controlled here, momentarily.
Gaarlandt wants to sweep here but Lewis controlling him for the moment.
Gaarlandt wants to stand and escape but Lewis is having none of it.
Lewis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gaarlandt on the ground.
Lewis controls from within his opponent's guard.
Gaarlandt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lewis is aware though and is defending well.

Lewis with a flurry of punches that miss.

Gaarlandt is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lewis defends well.
Lewis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gaarlandt to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lewis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gaarlandt pulls down on the head and he's put Lewis to sleep! This one is all over!
