The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corvette is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Corvette tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Corvette shoots in but Bones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Corvette shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bones pinned against the cage. Bones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Corvette shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bones as he avoids it easily.
Jake Bones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Corvette.
Bones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Corvette slips a jab and a cross from Bones.
No joy there for Bones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Corvette tries to clinch up but Bones circles away and keeps his distance.

Bones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Corvette moves in looking to clinch but Bones pushes him off.
Bones shoots in for a takedown but Corvette shows good takedown defense.

It looks like Nathan Corvette has been cut.
Corvette takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Corvette is rocked!
Bones dances in with a quick combination. Corvette is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Bones snaps Corvette's head back. Corvette stumbles backwards against the cage. Bones steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Corvette's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Corvette just didn't come prepared.
