PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arturro Affi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amazing Game (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Affi comes into the arena with Men at work - Land of down under blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Game's choice of entrance music: Spirit in the Sky. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Affi catches Game with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Some wild striking there from Affi.
Affi throws a head kick but Game moves out of range.
Game throws a hook but Affi blocks it.

Game rushes Affi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Game breaks the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Affi. Those never looked like landing.
Affi lands with a hook. Game tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Affi scores with a kick to the body.
Affi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Game.
Affi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Game moves away.
Affi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Game moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Game tries to close the distance and clinch but Affi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Affi lands a head shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Game uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Affi.
Affi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Game trying to control the position but instead, Affi has worked for underhooks and has pushed Game into the cage.

Affi lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Game tries to stall but Affi uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Amazing Game.

Affi lands a leg kick that knocks Game off balance momentarily.

Game throws a combination that misses
and Affi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Affi dips to his left and cracks Game with an uppercut!
Affi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Game.
Affi lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Amazing Game has been cut.
Game misses with a looping left.
Game gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Game is rocked!
Affi lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Game is still on wobbly legs! Can Affi finish him?

Game throws a series of punches but Affi avoids them all with ease.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Affi has cracked Game with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Affi lands another huge swinging hook and Game tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Game, before Affi can land any more shots!
