The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penkov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ivanov pinned against the cage. Ivanov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Penkov has momentary wrist control but Ivanov slips an elbow through the middle.

Well Ivanov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
