PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Hansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jar Krohn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krohn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I Am Hollywood. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Krohn slips a jab and a cross from Hansson.

Krohn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hansson, pushing him back against the cage.
Krohn has Hansson pressed against the cage, preventing Hansson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Krohn jumps guard and drags Hansson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Krohn can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hansson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krohn on the ground.
Krohn lands a big shot there that rocks Hansson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Krohn can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hansson is looking to escape.
Krohn won't let Hansson get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Krohn cracks Hansson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Hansson is rocked!

Krohn has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hansson's face.
Krohn loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hansson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Krohn land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Krohn stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jar Krohn!
A less than humble Jar Krohn misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
