Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Pelano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pelano has chosen I Wanna Be Somebody by WASP as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez lands the left hand.
Pelano throws the left hand but Alvarez avoids the punch easily.
Pelano throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alvarez misses with a wild body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Alvarez. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Alvarez.
Alvarez scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pelano throws a head kick but Alvarez moves out of range.
Alvarez cracks Pelano with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pelano swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alvarez checks a low kick from Pelano.
Alvarez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pelano.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pelano. Alvarez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pelano gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Pelano throws a one two combo.
Alvarez stuns Pelano with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pelano throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Alvarez jabs Pelano right on the nose. Pelano blinks but takes it well.
Pelano throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Pelano walks into a stiff left hand from Alvarez.

Alvarez dances in with a quick combination. Pelano is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Alvarez snaps Pelano's head back. Pelano stumbles backwards against the cage. Alvarez steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Pelano's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Pelano just didn't come prepared.
