Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lazaro Molina!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molina jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A head kick misses from Sorsa.
Molina stuffs the takedown.
Sorsa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Molina has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Molina pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sorsa throws a half hearted mid kick.
Molina lands with a nice body punch.
Sorsa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Molina manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sorsa takes a kick to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Molina getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Sorsa shoots in but no luck this time.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sorsa.
Sorsa turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sorsa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sorsa throws a nice inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Molina misses with a low kick.
Sorsa throws a nice outside leg kick.
Pulla Sorsa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sorsa misses with a body kick.
Molina keeps the fight on the outside.
Sorsa tries a head kick but it misses.
A slapping leg kick lands for Sorsa.
Molina feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sorsa's calf.
Molina throws a head kick but Sorsa moves out of range.
Sorsa looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Molina drives through with a takedown into Sorsa's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Molina forces his way into half guard.
Molina is stalling here. Sorsa is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Molina seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Sorsa has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Sorsa happy to just control the position for now.

Molina is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sorsa's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Sorsa! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Molina has tapped! This one is allllll over!
