The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braxton lands with a slapping head kick.
Braxton closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Braxton connects with a body shot.
Braxton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carlton moves away.
Braxton throws a low kick but it's checked well by Carlton.
Braxton misses with a looping left.
Braxton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Carlton counters with a shoot takedown. Braxton fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Carlton scoring with some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carlton stands up over Braxton, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Carlton scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Carlton cracks Braxton with a solid left hand.
Braxton wants to sweep but no luck.

Braxton throws his legs up looking for a submission but Carlton uses it to pass to side control.
Carlton moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Carlton is chipping away with strikes.

Carlton is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Braxton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Carlton controls the position.
Carlton landing a few strikes.
Carlton works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carlton in side control lands a decent elbow.
Carlton scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Braxton to see if he's OK.
Carlton content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Braxton is looking to regain half guard here but Carlton keeps moving and retains side control.

Carlton advances nicely into full mount.
Carlton lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Carlton has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Braxton's face.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Carlton! Braxton is hurt baaadly! Carlton is firing away with more strikes - Braxton is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
