Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sao Marcos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Kingsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sao Marcos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jason Kingsley!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcos shoots in looking for a takedown but Kingsley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marcos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kingsley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Marcos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kingsley somewhat.
Marcos tries to clinch but Kingsley moves out of range.

Marcos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Marcos trying to control the position from guard on top but Kingsley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Marcos trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kingsley's guard.
Kingsley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Marcos is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Sao Marcos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marcos throws a right and a left that Kingsley avoids nicely.
Marcos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kingsley.
Marcos throws a right hand that Kingsley ducks under and follows up with a left that Kingsley also avoids with ease.

Kingsley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Marcos is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Marcos is breathing heavily.
The referee warns Marcos that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Marcos is in all sorts of trouble here.
Marcos is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kingsley wants to control the pace but Marcos is squirming around nicely.
Kingsley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Marcos looks a forlorn figure.

Marcos is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kingsley cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kingsley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kingsley is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Marcos has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Kingsley in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

BOOM! Kingsley connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kingsley with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Marcos sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Kingsley is nestled in close to Marcos, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Marcos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kingsley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kingsley shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Marcos is controlling Kingsley's trapped leg to prevent Kingsley from advancing to side control.
Marcos wants to improve his position but Kingsley is controlling well.
Marcos wants to control but Kingsley is keeping busy.
Kingsley wants to stand up but Marcos has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Marcos avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kingsley.

Marcos trying to control from the bottom.

Marcos has one foot on Kingsley's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Sao Marcos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Marcos has his takedown stuffed
and Kingsley counters with a head kick. That will keep Marcos thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Kingsley counters with a nice kick to the body.
Kingsley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kingsley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Marcos is trying to control Kingsley's posture but Kingsley avoids it.

Kingsley tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marcos trying to control but Kingsley flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Kingsley is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Marcos is defending well though. Kingsley let's go of the attempt for now.
Marcos trying to control the action but Kingsley just sinks the hooks in.

Marcos is trying to get back to his feet but Kingsley has full control of the position and if anything, Marcos has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Kingsley lands a shot to the head.

Marcos tries to break free.

Kingsley is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Marcos knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Marcos for a finish.

Kingsley is landing with strikes from the back.
Marcos is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Kingsley throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Marcos!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Jason Kingsley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Marcos tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kingsley counters with a two punch combo.

Marcos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Marcos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Marcos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kingsley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kingsley keeping moving, preventing Marcos from controlling successfully.
Marcos scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Marcos gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Marcos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kingsley was well out of range. Poor timing from Marcos.

Kingsley dodges the punch combination from Marcos.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Marcos shoots in for a takedown but Kingsley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Kingsley looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Marcos!
Kingsley connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Marcos some visible discomfort.
Marcos wants to get back to his feet but Kingsley drags him back down.
Kingsley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marcos keeps working.
Marcos is trying to buck Kingsley off.

Kingsley decides to stand back up. Kingsley steps back and let's Marcos get back to his feet.

Marcos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kingsley moves away.

Kingsley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Marcos can't break the clinch.
Marcos tries to break the clinch but Kingsley is controlling the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kingsley lands an elbow inside that Marcos shrugs off.
Marcos wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kingsley has him pressed against the cage.
Marcos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kingsley after a bit of a struggle.
Kingsley lands a knee to the head.
Kingsley lands an elbow that stopped Marcos in his tracks for a moment.
Kingsley scores with a knee to the head.

Kingsley manages to break the clinch.

Marcos stuffs the takedown attempt from Kingsley. Kingsley gets slowly back to his feet.

Kingsley pushes Marcos up against the cage in a clinch.
Kingsley lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Kingsley stops a takedown attempt from Marcos.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sao Marcos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kingsley keeps control of Marcos as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Kingsley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sao Marcos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kingsley misses with a takedown attempt - Marcos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Marcos scores with a punch to the head.
Marcos throws a right hand that Kingsley ducks under and follows up with a left that Kingsley also avoids with ease.

A lazy body kick from Marcos
and Kingsley counters with a big head kick but Marcos shrugs it off.


Marcos is rocked!
Marcos is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Kingsley moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Kingsley!
