Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Boyce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Why (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyce's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bert & Ernie - Ante Up. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Boyce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stevie Why!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyce looks to land a combination but Why avoids it well.
Boyce misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Why bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Why tries to clinch up but Boyce circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Why drops back looking for a leg! Boyce is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boyce manages to kick Why off! Why jumps back into Boyce's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Why wants to control from the top but Boyce keeps moving.
Boyce bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Why's guard.
Boyce lands a couple of digs.
Stevie Why has got the better of the ground game so far.
Why trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Why avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Boyce tries to stand but Why is controlling from the bottom.

Stevie Why showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
