Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randal Plimpton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aaron Smith told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Plimpton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the cage.
Smith takes an elbow to the forehead.
Smith has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Plimpton after a bit of a struggle.

Plimpton lands an elbow inside that Smith shrugs off.
It looks like Aaron Smith has been cut.

Plimpton comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Plimpton is pressed up against the cage. Smith has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Plimpton down to the mat. Plimpton avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
