PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between French Toast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piru Parka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toast comes into the arena with EAZY-E - Real Muthaphuckkin' G's blaring out of the sound system. Parka has chosen as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toast fails with the takedown
and Parka counters with a left to the body.
Parka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Toast paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Toast closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Parka's guard.
Parka is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Our spies down at at Steel Penn Icon Training Grounds inform us that Parka has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parka wants to stand and escape but Toast is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Toast wants to pass the guard but Parka is keeping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Toast shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parka as he jumps to the side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Toast is defended easily by Parka.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for French Toast. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Toast shoots in looking for a takedown but Parka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Toast's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Parka counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Parka counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Toast badly! He tries to strike back but Parka puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Toast out cold! Oh man, Toast will never hear the end of this one!

After the fight, Piru Parka was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
