Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lexington Snape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas comes to the cage accompanied by Millencolin - Mr Clean. Snape has chosen DJ Tiësto - Carmina Burana: Remixed as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snape takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Snape gets a clinch.
Snape is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lucas is defending well for now.
Lucas looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lucas on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Snape tries a knee to the head but Lucas blocks it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lucas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snape moves to clinch but Lucas breaks away
and Lucas counters with a straight right hand.
Lucas tries to land a front kick but Snape steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Snape uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lucas.
The fight stays on the outside here - Snape looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Snape tries to clinch but Lucas moves away
and Lucas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Snape thinking.
Snape doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lucas clobbers Snape with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lexington Snape is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lucas thumps Snape with a low kick.

Lucas drops Snape with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Snape looks back up at him and smiles so Lucas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Snape is rocked!

It looks like Lexington Snape has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lucas lands a slapping body shot.
Snape is still on wobbly legs! Can Lucas finish him?
Snape looks winded!
Lucas scores with a kick to the body.
Lexington Snape seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lucas throws a nice inside leg kick.
Snape seems to have recovered his senses.
Lucas throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Lucas manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Snape on his heels. He'll look to pass Snape's guard now, I'm sure.
Lucas postures up in Snape's guard and throws a big left but Snape blocks it.
Snape really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lucas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Snape can't keep his opponent in guard - Lucas advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Lucas throwing shots but Snape is blocking nicely.
Lucas seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Snape avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lucas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lucas takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Snape has hold of Lucas's hands but Lucas slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lucas moves into full mount! Snape won't be happy about that!
Lucas postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Snape in real trouble here! The ref calls for Snape to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Matthew Lucas tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
