And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schroeder tries a low kick but Evil avoids it.
Schroeder misses the shot to the body.
Evil shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Schroeder as he avoids it easily.
Evil connects with a leg kick. Schroeder looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Evil shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schroeder sprawls well. Schroeder wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Evil gets slowly back to his feet.
Evil avoids a punch combination nicely.
Schroeder throws an overhand right that lands on Evil's shoulder, as Evil tries to avoid the shot.
Evil lands a body shot.
Schroeder throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Evil drops his hands momentarily and Schroeder takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Evil throws a head kick but Schroeder moves out of range.
Evil uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Schroeder.
Schroeder pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Evil cracks the inside of Schroeder's front leg.
Horrible takedown by Evil or perhaps it was just good defense by Schroeder which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Exquisitely Evil. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Evil with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Schroeder to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Exquisitely Evil has been cut.

Schroeder swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Schroeder throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Evil sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Evil throws a head kick but Schroeder moves out of range.
Evil fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Schroeder avoids it really well and circles away.
Schroeder takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Evil ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schroeder moves away.
Schroeder throws out a powerful jab.
Evil swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Evil throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Evil shoots in looking for a takedown. Schroeder tries to sprawl out of it but Evil keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schroeder manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Franklin Schroeder is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Evil throws a leg kick that misses.
Evil moves away from the strike by Schroeder.
Evil thuds a left hand into Schroeder's body.
Evil fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Schroeder misses with a hook.

Schroeder cracks Evil with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Schroeder has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Evil to stand back up!

Evil is rocked!
Evil leaves his chin hanging out and Schroeder seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Evil crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
