The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gary tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rutten was well out of range. Poor timing from Gary.
Rutten connects with a right hand. Gary shakes it off.
Rutten looks to throw the jab but Gary is out of range.
Bas Rutten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gary misses with the combination.
Rutten lands with an overhand left.
Rutten connects with a body shot that sends Gary's belly button to the back.
Rutten staying out of range there.
Rutten's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rutten duly obliges.
Rutten lands with a right and another and another! Gary is in big trouble! Rutten lands again and this time it's lights out for Gary! A quality knockout there for Rutten.
