The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A lazy left from Cunnigham finds it's target.
Gracie is looking to clinch.
Gracie takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Cunnigham tries to sprawl but Gracie drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Cunnigham tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Cunnigham tries to kick Gracie off but Gracie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Cunnigham is looking to improve his position.

Cunnigham is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Cunnigham is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily.

Cunnigham bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cunnigham looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gracie with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Cunnigham seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cunnigham lands a nice short elbow.
Oh Gracie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cunnigham scores with a big shot! Gracie's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Gracie! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
