Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Griswold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griswold's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hooking Up The Lights. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Riley Lewis was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rusty Griswold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Riley Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griswold looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lewis is fending him off so far but Griswold persists. Nope, Lewis circles away and we're back to standing.
Griswold blocks a head kick by Lewis.
Lewis misses with a few strikes there.
Griswold shoots in for a double leg but Lewis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Griswold misses with a takedown attempt - Lewis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rusty Griswold. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Griswold shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lewis counters with a three punch combo that has Griswold backing up. Griswold nods at Lewis to acknowledge the strikes.
Griswold shoots in for a double leg but Lewis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Griswold shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lewis as he jumps to the side.
Griswold shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lewis defends it nicely.

Griswold shoots for a takedown but Lewis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rusty Griswold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Lewis is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Lewis lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Griswold or not.
Griswold wants to take the fight to the mat but Lewis manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Lewis is pushing Griswold up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Griswold blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lewis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Griswold fails in his attempt to clinch.
Griswold tries to clinch up but Lewis circles away and keeps his distance.
Griswold changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lewis tries to avoid it but Griswold manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lewis to the ground. Lewis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lewis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Griswold.
Lewis fails to land with a series of punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Griswold has his takedown stuffed
and Lewis counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Rusty Griswold has been cut.
Griswold looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lewis slaps away a takedown attempt from Griswold, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Griswold walks into a jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lewis shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Griswold eats them both and turns towards Lewis to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Riley Lewis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Griswold dodges the punch combination from Lewis.
Griswold fails with the takedown.
Griswold throws a predictable looking body shot

and Lewis counters with a crisp one two that drops Griswold! Lewis thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Griswold to his feet! Griswold is in big trouble!


Griswold is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Griswold out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Riley Lewis!
A relieved looking Riley Lewis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
