The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotten lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Pamaus connects with a leg kick. Rotten looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Rotten throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice jab there from Pamaus.
Both fighters circling a little - Pamaus finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Rotten fails to land the takedown.

Rotten instigates a clinch.
Pamaus scores with a nice hook to the head.

Pamaus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pamaus tests Rotten's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pamaus staying out of range there.
Pamaus sizes up Rotten with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Rotten throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pamaus moves out of range as Rotten strikes.
Rotten tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pamaus was well out of range. Poor timing from Rotten.

Rotten fails in his attempt to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pamaus is pawing at Rotten, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Rotten's nose. Rotten is badly hurt! Pamaus pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Rotten tries desperately to hold on but Pamaus is relentless in his assault! As Rotten receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Pamaus away and this one is in the books!
