The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ny swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pekka shoots in for a double leg but Ny sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pekka throws a poor cross that misses
and Ny counters with a straight right hand.
Ny throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pekka misses with an uppercut. Ny saw that one coming.
Ny moves away from the strike by Pekka.
Pekka throws a wild body kick that Ny sees coming a mile off.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pekka.
Ny scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Pekka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ny manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Pekka wants to control from the top but Ny keeps moving.
Pekka engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ny can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pekka stands up over Ny, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Ny can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pekka controls the pace.
Pekka advances to half guard.
Ny tries to roll over but Pekka keeps him under control.
Pekka is trying to control. Ny wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Pekka has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ny's face.
