The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verbana scores with a jab to the head.
Verbana misses with a head kick.
Kingsbury dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Verbana tries to move into range but Kingsbury moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Verbana throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kingsbury is looking to land body kicks.
Kingsbury takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Verbana ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kingsbury moves away.
Verbana takes one on the button.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kingsbury. Verbana does a little dance to reset his feet.
Verbana lands a head kick!

It looks like Jerry Kingsbury has been cut.
Verbana pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kingsbury throws a low kick but Verbana moves out of range easily.
Kingsbury tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Verbana throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kingsbury sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Verbana takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Verbana fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kingsbury looks winded!

Verbana lands a big head kick that sends Kingsbury tumbling to the mat! Verbana takes a step backwards and waves Kingsbury back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kingsbury is rocked!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Verbana.
Kingsbury is still on wobbly legs! Can Verbana finish him?

Verbana lands a brutal uppercut that launches Kingsbury off his feet! Kingsbury tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
