The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Super avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee throws a right hand that misses

and Super moves into the clinch.
Lee tries to circle away but Super has him pinned against the cage.
Super is trying to drag Lee to the mat but Lee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Super gets control of Lee's arms and successfully pulls guard. Super will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lee has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Super is proving hard to escape from.

Super showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lee.
Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lee throws a right hand that Super ducks under and follows up with a left that Super also avoids with ease.
Lee looks to land a combination but Super avoids it well.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lee blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Super has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lee is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Super has Lee pushed against the cage.
Super seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Super changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lee fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Super has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lee can do anything to dispel that myth.
