Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kiury Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Pieda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Apaga mas não bate - Pregador Luo. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kiury Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kamil Pieda!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails with the takedown

and Pieda moves into the clinch.
Gracie can't get the takedown.
Gracie is working for takedown but Pieda is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kiury Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Pieda holds him up against the cage and eventually Gracie drops back down to his feet.
Pieda is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Pieda has hold of one of Gracie's legs. Gracie is fighting the takedown attempt but Pieda gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pieda defends well.

Pieda throwing strikes from guard but Gracie blocks nicely.

Pieda scoring with some ground and pound.

Pieda lands a couple of digs.

Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pieda is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Pieda is sitting in close to Gracie's body. Gracie has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pieda is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pieda is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gracie.
