PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chan Sung Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jung comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Zombies kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams misses with the combination.
Jung missing with a left hand there. Adams was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Adams throws a sloppy head kick and Jung moves out of range easily.
Nice jab there from Jung.
Adams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jung was well out of range. Poor timing from Adams.

Jung pushes Adams up against the cage in a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Adams scores with a nice short uppercut.
Adams looking to stall.
Jung is trying to push Adams away but Adams has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jung tries to circle away but Adams has him pinned against the cage.
Adams lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jung backwards.
Jung is trying to break the clinch but Adams is controlling him.
Adams wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Adams misses with a body punch.
Adams is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Adams thows a left - swing and a miss!

Jung has Adams up against the cage in a clinch.
Adams misses with some punches.
Adams misses with a body punch.

Jung pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jung changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adams tries to avoid it but Jung manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adams to the ground. Adams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice shot lands for Jung.
Jung scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jung.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Adams - that will leave a mark!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A cross from Adams lands.
Adams throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Jung gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Adams misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jung.

Jung breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jung is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Adams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jung was well out of range. Poor timing from Adams.

Adams throws a body kick that misses.
Adams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Adams just misses with a punch to the body.

Adams swats away the attempt to clinch by Jung.
Jung throws a good cross that connects.

Adams connects with a solid leg kick.
Adams fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jung checks it well.
Jung uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adams.
Jung tries to clinch up.
Adams lands a nice hook to Jung's body. Jung takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jung scores with the left hand. Adams knows he should have avoided that one.

Adams is rocked!
Adams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jung moves away.
Oh Adams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jung drives through and clinches with Adams against the cage.

Jung breaks the clinch.
Adams moves out of range of the strikes.
Adams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jung.
Adams slips a jab from Jung.
Jung jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jung cracks Adams's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Adams slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Jung can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chan Sung Jung!
A very excited looking Chan Sung Jung made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
