Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopes clinches.
Robinson breaks from the clinch.
Lopes slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Robinson instigates a clinch.
Lopes wants the takedown. Robinson is fighting it off but Lopes persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Robinson's guard against the cage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lopes wants to control from the top but Robinson keeps moving.
Robinson controls Lopes momentarily but Lopes frees himself.
Lopes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lopes passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Robinson!

Lopes fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Robinson to the ground. Lopes is now in Robinson's guard.
Lopes is fighting to break Robinson's control of his arms but Robinson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Robinson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lopes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lopes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Robinson dives on top into guard.

Robinson throws a body punch but Lopes moves out of range.

Lopes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Robinson was covering up waiting for the punch and Lopes finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Robinson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lopes has picked Robinson up and slammed him! Robinson can't keep hold of the triangle and Lopes manages to pass to side control!
Lopes tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Lopes fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Robinson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lopes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lopes throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The ground and pound from Lopes seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Lopes swings around for an armbar but Robinson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lopes's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Robinson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Lopes is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Robinson throwing strikes from guard but Lopes blocks nicely.
Lopes throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Lopes has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Lopes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Robinson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Robinson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Robinson has Lopes up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lopes gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
