Fuimaono throws a sloppy head kick and Holmes moves out of range easily.
Fuimaono connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Holmes misses with a hook
and Fuimaono counters with a nice leg kick.
Holmes lands a right hook to the body.
Holmes moves out of range of the body kick.
Good leg kick by Fuimaono there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fuimaono avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Holmes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Holmes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fuimaono misses with a leg kick.
Holmes throws a jab when Fuimaono was well out of range.
Fuimaono throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Holmes walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fuimaono.

Fuimaono uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Holmes.

Fuimaono throws the kick towards the body but Holmes avoids it.
Holmes takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Holmes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A nice inside leg kick there by Fuimaono. That's going to slow Holmes down.

Fuimaono fakes the leg kick and cracks Holmes in the body.
A slow jab from Holmes misses its intended target.

Fuimaono thumps Holmes with a low kick.
Holmes is breathing heavily.
Fuimaono fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Holmes.
Fuimaono thuds his shin into the meat of Holmes's side.

Holmes takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Fuimaono scores with a spinning back kick!
Fuimaono throws a front kick that sends Holmes stumbling back into the cage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Fuimaono. That's going to slow Holmes down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Fuimaono. Holmes shrugs it off though.
Holmes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Fuimaono throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Fuimaono connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Holmes's hands.

Fuimaono uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Holmes is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Fuimaono knocks Holmes out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Opele Fuimaono!
After the fight, Opele Fuimaono was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
