Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Doom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huey Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Judo Flip. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doom chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Freeman takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Freeman swings for the body but Doom moves out of range.
Doom connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Freeman's hands.

It looks like Huey Freeman has been cut.
Doom is looking to score with low kicks.

Freeman shoots in and drives through. Doom sprawls well.

Doom throws a nice outside leg kick.
Doom throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Freeman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Doom is fending him off so far but Freeman persists. Nope, Doom circles away and we're back to standing.

Doom tries to bum rush Freeman with a series of wild strikes but Freeman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Freeman shoots in looking for a takedown. Doom tries to sprawl out of it but Freeman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Doom manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dave Doom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huey Freeman.

Freeman drops his hands momentarily and Doom takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Doom wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Doom jabs Freeman right on the nose. Freeman blinks but takes it well.

Doom gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Doom wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Freeman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Doom is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Freeman, into his guard.

Freeman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Freeman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Doom fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Freeman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Freeman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Freeman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Doom tries to avoid it but Freeman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Doom to the ground. Doom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Doom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Freeman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doom's waist but Doom gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Freeman off to one side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doom clobbers Freeman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
