Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glen Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolfgang Steuermann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Celtics. Steuermann is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ein Prosit. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steuermann tries to sprawl but Davis drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Steuermann is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Davis lands a nice short elbow.
Davis working over Steuermann with some ground and pound. Steuermann looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Davis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Steuermann defends it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davis gets to his feet and stands over Steuermann, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Steuermann felt that one! Davis unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Steuermann from any more punishment!
