The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klata tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Hendrick counters by moving into the clinch.

Klata moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hendrick looks to land a combination but Klata avoids it well.

Hendrick drives through and clinches with Klata against the ropes.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hendrick takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Klata changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hendrick fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Klata, as that shot connected.
Hendrick uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Klata.
Hendrick thuds his right hand into Klata's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Klata gets tackled into the ropes by Hendrick. Hendrick maintains the clinch.

Oooooh!!! Hendrick has knocked Klata down with a huge combo! Hendrick steps away and waves a wobbly Klata back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Hendrick throws an uppercut from hell that sends Klata clean off his feet! He's out cold! Hendrick stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
