The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Muromets with that takedown attempt.
Muromets jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McTrigger misses the shot to the body.
Muromets works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
McTrigger gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Muromets to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Muromets is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Muromets drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Muromets jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Muromets accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McTrigger pulls Muromets in close to his closed guard and prevents Muromets from doing any damage or advancing position.

McTrigger is staying active underneath Muromets, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Muromets looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Muromets wants to work for an arm triangle but McTrigger is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Muromets wants to control from the top but McTrigger keeps moving.
McTrigger wants to sweep here but Muromets controlling him for the moment.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Muromets jabs McTrigger right on the nose. McTrigger blinks but takes it well.
McTrigger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Muromets but Muromets pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McTrigger takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Muromets scores with the left hand. McTrigger knows he should have avoided that one.

McTrigger stuffs the takedown attempt from Muromets. Muromets gets slowly back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Muromets connects with a right that clearly hurt McTrigger. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Muromets proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till McTrigger collapses and taps out under the pressure!
