The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denks misses with the combination.
Denks fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Walker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Denks was well out of range. Poor timing from Walker.
Denks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Walker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Denks is defending against the submission attempts here by Walker.
Denks is doing well to control the position and prevent Walker from advancing to side control.
Walker is keen to just control but Denks is a slippery customer.

Damien Walker decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
