Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waltari Suokuokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonnie Fierro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suokuokka comes into the arena with Paul Engemann - Scarface (Push It to the Limit) blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Fierro's choice of entrance music: Punkrocker. Jonnie Fierro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

and Fierro counters with a nice low kick that buckles Suokuokka's knee momentarily.

Fierro walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Suokuokka checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Fierro rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Suokuokka counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Suokuokka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Fierro shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Fierro misses with a looping left.
Suokuokka moves in looking to clinch but Fierro pushes him off.
Fierro misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Fierro counters with an inside leg kick.
Donk. Fierro catches Suokuokka right on the button with a cross.
Suokuokka scores with the left hand. Fierro knows he should have avoided that one.

and Suokuokka makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fierro throws a hook to the side of Suokuokka's head but Suokuokka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Waltari Suokuokka will probably get the nod.

Fierro throws a sloppy body shot

and Suokuokka counters with a crisp one two that drops Fierro! Suokuokka thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Fierro to his feet! Fierro is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Suokuokka's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fierro connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Suokuokka scrambles back to his feet.
Suokuokka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fierro manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Suokuokka dances in with a quick combination. Fierro is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Suokuokka snaps Fierro's head back. Fierro stumbles backwards against the cage. Suokuokka steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Fierro's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Fierro just didn't come prepared.
