PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and arnold kilbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, arnold kilbot!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice misses with a jab, cross combination.
kilbot throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Slice throws a combination. kilbot tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Slice drives through with a takedown into guard.
Slice trying to stand up but can't free himself from kilbot's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slice has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
kilbot looking for a sweep. Not yet kilbot, not yet.

kilbot pushes Slice off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
kilbot throws a combination that misses

and Slice counters with a takedown into side control.


kilbot is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Slice decides to take the fight back to the feet.
kilbot is still on wobbly legs! Can Slice finish him?
Slice looks to land a combination but kilbot avoids it well.
kilbot seems to have recovered his senses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice throws a left and a right that both miss

and kilbot counters by moving into the clinch.
kilbot jumps guard but Slice stands there with kilbot around his waist. kilbot gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Slice is trying to break the clinch but kilbot has him pressed against the cage.
kilbot prevents Slice from breaking the clinch.

kilbot is fighting off a takedown attempt but Slice is just too persistent for him and manages to trip kilbot to the mat. kilbot regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Slice is breathing heavily.

Slice looking to pass the guard.
kilbot looking to control.

kilbot has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slice can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Slice stands up from kilbot's guard - Slice perhaps looking for a knockout.
kilbot is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Slice.

Slice fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. kilbot sprawls well initially but Slice persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
kilbot makes his way to full guard. A much better position for kilbot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slice has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of kilbot is proving hard to escape from.
kilbot lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Slice!
Slice might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slice wants to try and get back to his feet.
Slice on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Slice tries to get out of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
kilbot prevents Slice from getting the reversal.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
kilbot lands with some strikes.

kilbot has control of Slice's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Slice regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Slice's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Slice has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
kilbot trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
kilbot biding his time, controlling Slice.
kilbot is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Slice up.


Slice is rocked!
A helpless look comes across Slice 's face. He knows he's trapped as kilbot lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). arnold kilbot!
