Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Arnold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shashank Gupta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gupta is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eminem - Not Afraid. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shashank Gupta was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnold dives in and grabs Gupta's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gupta pushes down on Arnold's head and hops out.
Arnold tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A head kick by Gupta misses

and Arnold holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Gupta is trying to break the clinch but Arnold has him pressed against the cage.
Arnold could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gupta letting Arnold take a breather here.
Arnold jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gupta walks away with a smile on his face. Arnold gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gupta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Arnold throws a series of punches but Gupta moves out of range.
Gupta throws a sloppy head kick and Arnold moves out of range easily.
Arnold wants to stay close but Gupta steps back to make room for something. Arnold seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Gupta and Arnold drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Shashank Gupta!
A very excited looking Shashank Gupta made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
