Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Gold slips a jab and a cross from Saukko.
Saukko scores with a punch to the head.
Gold pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gold walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Saukko on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gold. Gold obviously looking to wear him down.
Saukko jabs Gold right on the nose. Gold blinks but takes it well.
Saukko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Gold is looking to control Saukko's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gold avoid being mounted?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Saukko perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Saukko thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gold's head.
Saukko is looking to take a break and control but Gold is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Saukko throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Gold is refusing to be controlled, as Saukko sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gold trying to hold on to Saukko's head to control him but Saukko postures up.

Saukko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Saukko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gold swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Saukko wants to control from the top but Gold keeps moving.
Gold wants to get back to his feet but Saukko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Gold wants to sweep here but Saukko controlling him for the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gold is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Saukko shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mr Gold is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A right-left combo lands from Saukko.
Saukko throws a combination. Gold tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gold finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Saukko misses with a body shot.
Saukko digs a good body shot into Gold's ribs.
Gold ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Saukko checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Gold avoids a punch combination nicely.
Saukko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Saukko fails to land with a series of punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gold tried to score with a low kick but Saukko checks it.
Saukko looks to score with a jab to the body but Gold is just out of range.
Saukko has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gold.
A punch lands to the side of Saukko 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gold looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Saukko!
Gold scoring well with a low kick there.
Per Saukko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saukko moves out of range of the strikes.
Saukko throws a right and a left that Gold avoids nicely.
Gold jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Saukko tries to score with a low kick but Gold moves his leg out of the way.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gold misses with a kick to the body.
Saukko lands with a straight right. Gold didn't see that one coming.
Saukko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Saukko checks a leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Per Saukko dominated that round.

Saukko throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Saukko tries a head kick but it misses.
Gold pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Saukko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Saukko is looking to clinch but Gold is avoiding it.
Gold misses with a body kick.
Saukko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Saukko lands in his opponent's guard.
Saukko tries to free his leg and advance position but Gold is retaining full guard.
Saukko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Gold is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Saukko postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Saukko in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Gold is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Saukko rolls with it to try and escape but Gold cranks on the arm and Saukko is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
