Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Reza Madadi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drizzt Do Urden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reza Madadi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drizzt Do Urden!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madadi throws a sloppy head kick and Do Urden moves out of range easily.

Madadi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Do Urden on his heels. He'll look to pass Do Urden's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Do Urden wants to sweep here but Madadi controlling him for the moment.

Do Urden misses with a body kick.
Madadi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Do Urden manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Do Urden misses with a hook. Madadi ducked under it nicely.
Do Urden looks to throw the jab but Madadi is out of range.

Do Urden swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Do Urden lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Madadi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Madadi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Madadi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Do Urden manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Reza Madadi has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Do Urden throws a leg kick but Madadi checks it.
Madadi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Do Urden tries to avoid it but Madadi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Do Urden to the ground. Do Urden escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck for Madadi with that takedown attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Do Urden enables Madadi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Do Urden manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Do Urden escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Madadi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Do Urden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Madadi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Madadi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Madadi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Do Urden's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Reza Madadi will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Reza Madadi.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Madadi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
