Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jermaine Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuvaj Ruke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Straight Out of Compton. Cuvaj Ruke has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cuvaj Ruke!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ruke.
Johnson misses with an uppercut. Ruke saw that one coming.
Johnson connects with a nice looking jab.
Ruke shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely.
Ruke finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ruke will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jermaine Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cuvaj Ruke.
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Ruke. Ruke gets slowly back to his feet.

Johnson drives through and clinches with Ruke against the cage.
Ruke has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Johnson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Johnson lands a shoulder strike.
Johnson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Ruke tries for a takedown. No joy.

Johnson pushes Ruke back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Johnson misses with a punch on the inside.
Johnson has a couple of punches blocked by Ruke.
A head punch on the inside from Johnson fails to land.
Johnson misses with some punches.
Johnson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Johnson creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Ruke's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Ruke drops to his knees and Johnson pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
