Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Avalon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Porucha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avalon comes to the ring accompanied by Eye of the Tiger. Rickson Porucha will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avalon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Porucha counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Avalon throws a left and a right that both miss

and Porucha counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Porucha throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Avalon tries to roll over but Porucha keeps him under control.

Porucha has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Avalon is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Porucha tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Porucha unloads with some shots from mount but Avalon bucks and avoids them well.

Avalon is squirming around, avoiding Porucha's attempts to control the action.
Avalon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Avalon is bucking up trying to escape but Porucha cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Avalon avoids a series of strikes thrown by Porucha.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Porucha misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
